Konwinski Construction Scholarship Fund

Konwinski Construction was founded in 1977 by Jerel Konwinski, and has focused on residential and commercial construction around Isabella and Gratiot Counties.  Mr. Konwinski recently sold the company to longtime employees: Joe Fleming, Ben Humphrey and Andy Theisen Jr.

Konwinski Construction does their marketing primarily though word of mouth and by supporting and sponsoring community events, endeavors, and helping Isabella County graduates gain scholarships for college. As part of his business legacy, Mr. Konwinski established the Konwinski Construction Scholarship Fund at Community Foundation in 2018 to support students who have an interest in skilled trades, including , but not limited to: architecture, carpentry, civil engineering, construction management, electrician, HVAC/refigeration technology, interior design, masonry, or plumbing. The new fund will focus on students with financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA.

The new owners want to honor and continue Konwinski's legecy.
